We are now looking for a candidate who wants to be a part of a global team and work with Demand Planning and Sales and Operations Planning together with our Customer centers, Product companies and Distribution centers worldwide.

About the job

As a Jr Analyst, you will be a part of a team located in Fagersta, Sweden and report to Supply Chain Planning Manager. The team has the global responsibility for Demand Planning, S&OP and Inventory Planning and together you plan, balance and manage both inventories, service levels and logistics costs for both Customer centers, Production centers and Distribution centers globally. 

The main responsibility for this position is to support our colleagues within Demand Planning and Sales and Operations Planning. You will be part of the global rollout of our processes and your analytical skills is critical in order to succeed. You have no problems of handle large amounts of data and draw correct conclusions. Preferable you are interesting of Machine learning. 

To be successful in our company and this position we believe you need to be comfortable with taking initiative and have excellent communication and cooperation skills. You are highly result oriented, structured, analytical, and comfortable working within different cultures, countries, in various levels within the organization and externally with customers. You are a skilled change agent.

Qualifications

Formal requirements are:

  • Hold a university degree and/or MBA in relevant field.
  • Preferable you have previous work experience within Logistics from a complex global environment.
  • Certification in Logistics from APICS or similar would be advantageous.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent computer skills, preferable M3, Excel, Syncron GIM, Advanced Planning systems (e.g. iPlanner), Machine learning programs.
  • Project management skills and experience.
  • Continuous Improvement/Lean/Six Sigma/Problem Solving Methodology experience is a qualification.

Preferred experience and knowledge:

  • Excellent knowledge in logistics, stock management and operations both practical and theoretical.
  • Financial and Supply Chain Controlling knowledge.
  • Expert knowledge in relevant operation and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to see the complete picture and the end-to-end perspective.
  • Ability to clearly present and visualize conclusions and decision material.
